The 5 Worst Smartphones on the Market
There used to be a time when the introduction of a new phone was years apart. However, due to innovations in technology, that gap has shortened considerably. A phone that came out at the beginning of the year may not be able to handle the latest video calling app or perform at the fastest speed. Understandably, consumers want a bigger and better deal. However, new isn’t doesn’t always mean better.
Therefore the following includes a list of five of the worst smartphones on the market:
1. iPhone SE
When people think of an Apple iPhone, they usually don’t think of affordability. New phones can reach up to the high thousands. However, Apple clearly has conducted its research and understands some of their top of the line phones are not affordable to a large group of people. This is why the iPhone SE was introduced at a low price of $399. However, when such a price is set on a smartphone, you can bet that the manufacturer needed to sacrifice some features of the phone. One of the more obvious cons regarding this phone is the design of the phone. The SE uses a six-year-old design that many people might not be comfortable using anymore. In keeping with the design, the SE does not include a headphone jack. Those looking for a deal might not be aware that they now have to spend an extra $100 for Apple wireless headphones.
2. Samsung Galaxy A21s
The Samsung Galaxy A21s was introduced into the public market on June 19th. Many praised the phone for its dual SIM 5G smartphone and amazing design. However, when the phone finally came out, and people got their hands on it, the reviews were not as complimentary as before. Some of the negatives that people instantly noticed included a lack of removable battery or even the ability to expand their memory. Others did not like the fact that the phone was not able to charge wireless.
3. Realme Narzo 10
The Realme Narzo 10 was introduced and debuted in 2020 with little to no fanfare. This low-end smartphone was immediately not taken so well by the public as it holds a large number of issues. One of the most dangerous of them all includes the fact that it’s prone to overheating. In addition to overheating, the smartphone does not contain an HD display, nor can it charge wirelessly.
4. Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite
The phone was introduced with “Power” in the title, and that is because it actually does have more power than its closest competitors. However, that “power” was quickly determined to come with a few disadvantages. The power of the device usually causes the phone to overheat and thus lose performance speed. Another disadvantage of this phone includes its camera. Although it performs just fine in bright light areas, it is noticeably underpowered within low-light areas.
5. LG DoublePlay
In 2011 the keyboard-type phone was almost non-existent within the smartphone market. Even with that information, LG decided that the demand was still there and chose to combine a physical keyboard along with a touch-screen display. The reaction from consumers wasn’t something LG was expecting as the phone was instantly rejected. Some of the issues that turned away consumers included its bulky size, screen display size, and difficult to use interface.
